1. AFFILIATIONS

		NAATI NAATI accreditation is the only credential officially accepted for the profession of translation and interpreting in Australia . Connect Language Services requires that all translators and interpreters to be NAATI accredited whenever possible. Connect Language Services is a member of the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). ---------------------------------------------------------------

		AUSIT The Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT) is the national association for the translating and interpreting profession. Members of AUSIT are mainly practising translators and interpreters, but those interested in the support and development of the profession are encouraged to join as well. The AUSIT Code of Ethics is recognised as setting standards for the profession. In our efforts to support the translation and interpreting industry, Connect Language Services is a member of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT). ---------------------------------------------------------------

		THE INTERPRETER SYMBOL The Interpreter Symbol is a national public information symbol developed by Victoria in partnership with the Commonwealth, state and territory governments. The symbol provides a simple way of indicating where people with limited English proficiency can ask for language assistance when using government services.
